Hi everybody! I am trying to record some music with my laptop (Samsung notebook NP9053G) I have an very old sound editing program Adobe Audition 1.5... yes you can laugh! And a little table mixer Mackie 402VLZ4 and a Shure 57 mic... i have connected the mixer to my laptop from L R main out to my laptop's mic/headphones input with an 3,5mm cable connector... then when I try to change the voice settings in my laptop "record and playback device" settings and the "in and output" settings from the program itself it doesn't seem to find or recognise my mixer... it only finds it in output settings and offers my laptop's own build in speakers for the recording... how can I change this... can you help? Thanks!
