samsung phone screen blank

hi everyone, my phone was approx. 80% charged last night,, now I pick it up and it is warm but no lights, the screen is blank, clicking the off/on button does nothing,
any ideas please?

Take out the battery, put it back in, if that does not work your screen or possibly the system board needs to be replaced.
