Samsung S2 stuck at firmware failure screen

My galaxy S2 is stuck at the "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again."

I have tried Kies, and it won't recognize my S2. I have also tried loading the firmware via Odin, but it always fails (<ID:0/005> Complete(Write) operation failed.)

Is there anyway to reset my phone or is there a fix for the Kies or Odin problems?
