Samsung S3 mini battery swelling

I have the Samsung s3 mini. My battery swelled after about 15 months of use. I bought a new one and after 4 months I am now experiencing the same problem. I have never continued charging my phone once the battery has fully charged.Has anyone had a similar problem and if so how have you resolved the problem.

Not sure if there is a 'fix', per se, but it seems like Samsung is willing to replace your battery for this issue. At least you don't have to pay for a new one, right?
