Hi all I have a 3 year old Samsung series 7 gaming laptop which is pretty good but after 3 years is struggling to play the newest titles on higher settings. I play a lot of Elite dangerous and it has really good frame rates but only on medium settings, even at these settings planetary landings struggle to get more than 22 FPS.
I was wondering if possible could I upgrade the GFX card and/ or the processor? I know laptops aren't the easiest things to upgrade but I've heard about external GFX cards are these actually a real thing?
My current spec is as follows:
Windows 10 (64 bit)
16 gig ram
Intel i7-3630 QM CPU @2.40GHz 2.40 GHz
Nvidia Geforce GTX 675M GFX card.
This is the laptop I have: http/www.techradar.com/reviews/pc-mac/laptops-portable-pcs/laptops-and-netbooks/samsung-series-7-gamer-1102324/review
I'm not very techie so any help would be appreciated
