samsung surround speakers don't work

Hello, we have just recently bought a Samsung DVD home entertainment system HT-E350 that came with two front speakers, two surround speakers, a subwoofer speaker and a central speaker. I have installed all of the equipment and did all the configuration following the instructions step-by-step. But now that I test them, the surround speakers do not work. When I go in settings and do a test sound on the speakers and they all work. I even tried by making the surround speakers louder than the front but it still doesn't function properly.
Can someone please help me?

How did you test them? The surround speakers will not produce sound unless the movie soundtrack uses them which is only when the director wants them on. When there is zero supposed to come from the rears it doesn't matter how loud you adjust them.
Play a disc that has a lot of surround sound (SciFi, action. superhero) and watch it to the end.
Set the surround mode to Auto for disc, Dolby for TV (OTA or cable).
