Question Samsung Tab 7- using USB-C Hub and external HD's

Hi- I want to use the new Tab 7 for video production, and to backup/ transfer SD card footage (Sony A7R2) to external HD- at the USB 3.1 speed. Will this be possible? It will be easier to travel without laptop- I did try to use my Samsung S9 plus phone for this, and could copy/ paste to the internal microsd card, but not a straight transfer to Seagate 3.0 HD. Any advice?

It works on my Western Digital My passport 2tb so it should work on yours as well.

My only problem now is that my tab s7 plus is not ready MyBookDuo that is being setup as raid 1..
