samsung tv and netflix

Gentlemen I have a Samsung smart tv; model UN40H4203AF. using the optical output on the tv and optical cable i connect the cable to a DAC. The out analog output of the DAC goes to a Pyle speaker: model no. PHBT97PB. The tv is set for external speaker stereo. I am getting sound through the external speaker from cable tv, youtube etc. But no sound from Netflix. I am getting sound from Netflix through the tv speaker but not from the output speakers. Could you please help?
