samsung tv will not recognize hdmi connection

I have a desktop that I am trying to hook Samsung Tv up to. Tv continues to show No Cable Connected no matter which of 3 hdmi points i put it in. They all work with firestick plugged in though. I have added tv to my pc under printers/devices and it finds no problems to trouble shoot.
Not sure what to do next. Please help. Thanks.

TV: UN40EH5300 Samsung
PC: Desktop built by Cyberpower running Win 7 home prem., service pack 1,
I have used 2 new cables: hdmi to hdmi and hdmi to vga with 3.5mm audio cord. Same things for both cables.

Just press Windows key+p to change the projection options.
