Samsung UA40ES6200R no picture/menu HORIZONTAL lines.

Hi

Please help, I have a Samsung UA40ES6200R Led tv that gives no picture, but have multi-colored horizontal lines/stripes jumping from bottom to top erratically. All color lines. If I plug out the t-con and switch it on, the back light comes on, and I can hear a beep when tuning the volume with the little joystick on the back of the tv. Please any ideas???

Try another TV via the signal, and confirm that the issue is the TV and not the source signal.

If it is the TV, try unplugging for a few hours, and see if that resets it.

If neither of these work, than see if the TV is still under warranty, and if not then this HDTV is gonna head to the curb.
