Question Samsung UN55MU6290FXZA lines on screen

I bought this TV from someone who had it for 2 years. They were advised to replace the T-con board but I've heard others say the screen panel needs to be replaced. I really hope that it's just the T-con or other board.. The vertical line is at the center of the screen from the top to the middle. The horizontal line goes all the way across from left to right at the middle of the screen. The two lines meet with a sort of "dot"at the intersection ...thank you!
