Samsung x10 laptop issues forum

Hi GUys,
i got a samsung X10 laptop and i can't see anything on the screen except the slightly gray colour screen which indicates the screen is litup.but other than that i can not see any boot screen or windows screen. i have connected to a external display unit, then i can see everything as normal on the external screen. what do guys think is wrong ? please help.

Usually the display will only go to one device, the external monitor or the LCD screen. Use th Fn key and the F key with the monitor on it to toggle back and forth between displays.

i had disconnected my external screen while i connect to the main display.

You should be able to leave the external connected and then switch between the two.
