Solved! Screen blank on advent roma 3000 laptop

Hello,
when i start my windows 7 computer all lights are on and web cam light is on but the screen is blank

try connecting to external monitor, if external works the problem with your screen on laptop

get a flash light and shine at laptop screen, can you see the image? if yes, backlight needs to be replaced. If not, there's a deeper problem that needs to be diagnosed by a professional.
