screen brightness won't adjust

If my display settings are set to 'on' for adjusting screen brightness, and the slider bar is all the way up but the screen is still dim, how do I fix the screen brightness?

You can't, if the screen brightness is already maxed out, that's all you will get. There's no solution to this... Another monitor!
