Screen dims when plugged in

I have a Toshiba Satellite A665s5119x. It has just started dimming the screen when the power plug is in. Once it is unplugged, the screen returns to normal brightness. Any thoughts?

Hi,

Yeah completely normal, it's called power saving mode.

You can modify it in the power option in the control panel, but if you do, your battery won't last for long.
