screen going white on my lenovo flex 15

so my computers screen has been turning white (like i have the gamma up or something) and for some reason whenever i push on the laptops screen it goes away, i know for a fact this isn't a graphics card problem as whenever i plug in a second monitor with a HDMI cord that screen doesn't go white at all, i do play a lot of high CPU consuming games, can someone please help me this has been going on for a while and i am sick of it

Try opening it up and see if the cable connecting the screen to the laptop has become pinched, loose, dislodged, etc. That can cause this issue.

Should that not be the case, you may have to replace the screen.
