Screen of my pioneer plasma not working

Hello,
I have a pioneer PDP-505HDG tv and the screen is not working and the red light is flashing twice. I have unplugged and reset power, nothing changes. The tv tech guy in my small town isnt familiar with my tv and have to wait for an out of town person to help next week. Looking for an answer as to what the problem may be. Thanks in advance

Sad day, nice panel. Those TVs all have a diagnostic run on power up. Could be a power supply. When the tech shows up, he will be able to tell you within a few minutes. Most older TVs, I'd say just scrap before you repair them. Pioneers are a special breed. If my Pioneer Pro-1130 goes down, I'd pay to repair it without a second thought.
