SDHC 32GB formatting

Idk really what formatting is. I want to download a bunch of music on this card to put in my Windows phone for work. Do i need to format or do anything so i don't run into problems in the long run.

I you format it on a Windows machine, the default format will be NTFS which stands for New Technology File System and is their preferred version and the best one to use on your SDcard.

The alternative is FAT32 which you would use if the card was going into a Linux system or an Android device.
