Selective focus

Hello,
I was playing around with my selective focus by feel and now the black squares are stuck on in my view finder and its hard to see the red dot where the focus is selected. How do I turn this off?

Look for a menu option to restore (or reset to) defaults. If necessary look in the full length manual -- probably a PDF version is on the CD which came with the camera or on the maker's support website.
