Sennheiser hd598 vs hd650

ok so I was looking at getting a new gaming headphones and I was going to get the hd598s and then I kept seeing the 650s being brought up when I do some more research. Should I shell out the extra money and get the 650s or will the 598s work just fine. Mainly using them for gaming (FPS mostly, CSGO to be specific) and music. Was going to get the Schiit stack (magni and modi) dac/amp no matter what I pick. Or is the possibly some other pair of headphones that I should be looking at instead?

Those two are completely different so the best thing to do is record some gameplay audio at the maximum quality you can and test it out somewhere they have both on display. Both are overkill for CSGO though, so it should probably come down to your other uses (music)
