Sfc/scannow has repair pending what does that mean

I had to go into safe mode with command prompt and then I typed in sfc/scannow like i was told to then is says " there is a system repair pending which requires reboot to complete. Restart windows and run sac again." What does that mean?

It means it cannot repair certain system files until you run a reboot. These files cannot be repaired because they are currently in use with you being logged in.

I got this....

The /image option that is specified points to a running windows installation to service the running operating system, use the /online option. For more information, refer to help by running DISM.exe / online /?

The DISM log file can be found at C:\windows\logs\DISM\dism.log
