Sharp TV Problem - Display not working

I have this older model Sharp TV and it has recently stopped working. This power button is constantly flashing green. I can hold the button down and it turns red. Then I press and hold again and it turns orange and then after about 5 seconds the screen comes on for about 2 seconds and then shuts off and starts to flash again. I can press and hold the power button again and it turns green and the screen comes on again, but only for 2 seconds as well. I don't know if the is any way to fix this problem, but if anyone knows anything it would be awesome.

I can trick it by once this orange light shows and once the display shows by pressing the power button it shuts it off and then I can keep turning it on and off with the display showing, once with the static looking background, others it's just back with the channel number. But if I leave it for too long it goes back to flashing
