I ran the arp-a command and the physical address associated with my default gateway is unidentifiable when I look it up on mac lookup.Shouldnt it show my modems name?

You haven't really included enough info about what you were trying to do that made you try that command and what is going on exactly. And no info on the make/model of the laptop.

Please include all the details of what you were trying, what situation occurred and why you are using that command, as well as the computer info, so we here can try and help.

I have an HP stream 64-bit running windoes 10 Pro N. It all started when I saw this warning message in my modem logs ..(RNG-RSP CCAP Commanded Power Exceeds Value Corresponding to the Top of the DRW;CM-MAC=80:d0:4a🇦🇩7e:bb;CMTS-MAC=00:aa:6e:c1:d6:3d;CM-QOS=1.1;CM-VER=3.1;0) The second mac belongs to a cisco modem and I have a technicolor modem. I got suspicious and ran the arp -a cmd to see which path my traffic is taking and found the physical address associated with the defaul gatway doesn't have a name when i look it up on mac lookup tool.I've been hacked before so I'm like that now,but I'm a novice at this stuff.
