Hi
I was reading different reviews on internet and confused about this article.
I am an architecture student and I will be using the laptop for
3Ds Max modeling, adobe Photoshop, adobe lightroom, sketchup and Autocad.
My budget is around 3000 Euros.

Should i buy a Macbook pro mid-2015 15" retina display, a MSI WS60 2OJ-092PT (4K Wide View Edition) - workstation or a gaming laptop?! But i'm not thinking to play game on it

Any suggestion?!

thank you

I would look at the Dell Precision, they are insanely reliable and have workstation style graphics, which are much better than any MacBook Pro.

You can get an extremely powerful Dell Precision for less money than a basic/mid range MacBook Pro.

Hope this helps.

Neither. From my experience, ultabooks always underperform be it Modelling or CAD.They are just not up to these tasks. So my recommendation is you should assemble a full tower.

3000 euros (3200$) is a nice round budget for a decent high end workstation. However if you are limited by portability go with mac pro.The reason is that it has 5th generation i7 processor(58 and 8gb amd radeon gpu.Secondly you have given us only two choice.I would advice you to look at other ultabooks.

But i would say go for a tower.I am sorry i don't know laptops that well.
