Should I buy an xbox one S if i don't own a 4K TV?

Solution
The main changes of the S are; smaller size, supports 4k blurays and HDR (nicer colors). The last two obviously only have a point if you have a 4K TV and one that has HDR support. There is no real in-game performance difference between the two.

If you want to save money look for the old model as they've been putting them on firesale to get rid of the old stock.

The original Xbox One comes in a few configurations, but the standard one only has a 500GB hard drive. Since games regularly take up 40GB or more nowadays (to say nothing of updates and DLC), your hard drive can fill up fast. And if you think that won’t be a problem because you’ll buy your games on disc, think again. Before you can play disc-based games, the Xbox One has to install them on your hard drive, too
