Should i buy or upgrade

I have an hp compaq 6530s windows xp but i turned it into a windows 7 ultimate with
-Intel core 2 duo
-1gb ddr2 ram
Should i upgrade it or buy a new one??

It is never cost effective to upgrade a prebuilt. You have to replace almost everything to gain any real benefits

If u are happy with it otherwise, upgrade ram should last u another 2 years, unless the battery/HD die first. Core Duo is really on its last leg.

That is horrible advice.
Adding ram won't make this machine any way a playable computer.
