Should i buy xonar u7 for ath m40x?

Hello folks, i recently bought ath m40x headphones. They are really good, but i expected a little more from them. Sound is good and clear, however i think they should be just a little more bassy(if that is even word). So i thought of buying dac. Will it help me? The one i am looking at is asus xonar u7. Is it good? Will it make ath sounds better? Should i buy dac or new sound card? And also, how is dac working? Do i just plug it in usb port or whatever and that's it?

You could try some equalization to see if your headphones have any bass capabilities. Lack of bass is usually up to the drivers or an equalization setting.

Yea i had equalization turned on, in deezer. Headphones a more loud, and have more bass. However, is it worth getting xoanr u7? Will it give better sound to headphones?
