hi there . so im thinking of buying an acer nitro 5 spin. im starting university. i want to sell my xbox one and use the laptop as my console by connecting it to the TV when I'm at home. I want a convertible laptop and this is in the price range.my price range is around $1000. i would like to game in 4k when at home.if I don't recieve true 4k it won't be a problem as long as I get full HD at 30fps for high end games . I'm mainly going to be playing FIFA and Forza . is this a good idea?

No $1,000 laptop will run games at 4k. Convertible laptops is not something I would pick for gaming, you are just adding too many things to break, I'd get a normal laptop.

you won't find many convertible laptops that will have the specs you are looking for and any you find would not be worth the price. you are better off going for a gaming laptop from brands like asus or MSI
