Shutting Down Issue

When I open my Acer laptop, it only shows "Shutting down" in the screen. If I close it again and open it, it comes back to shutting down and continues to load shutting down. How can i resolve it?

Hold the power button for 10 seconds. That will force it to power off. I would only do that if you have left the laptop alone for at least 30 minutes with the shutting down on screen to make sure it is truly stuck.
