Signing another person off and it locked up

I went to sign my roommate off and it has locked up. How do I fix that? I've tried unplugging it, turning it off nothing works. OS windows 10 browser: chrome

Hi,

Can you give us more information on where did the locked up happen? You mentioned Google Chrome as his browser. Did the lock up happened either from the sign in screen, Email account or other password related websites?

If it's a lock up issue meaning the entire screen is frozen, do a hard reset first. Remove the battery and AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds then power it back on with just the AC adapter connected. You can connect the battery back once you're in you desktop. Lock up can be cause either by overheating, your HDD failing (if not SSD), Virus issue and Operating system problem.
