Hi I have a Samsung samsung ue40ju6000 series 6 with a hdmi STB/DVI port..my satellite provider in the uk will be broadcasting 4K content shortly and I have read that this requires a HDCP 2.2 hdmi port. Does this mean my TV is useless for 4K video?
Most 4K tv are HDCP 2.2 compliant, you should be fine with your current tv. Only Sky Q Silver is the 4K service, Sky Q is the basic service.
You should be supplied with everything you need with your Sky Q Silver including the HDMI cable. Just plug the hdmi cable into your tv's HDMI ports to the box.

Hi, thanks for getting back to me I have the Sky Q silver set up and the engineer provided the hdmi cable within this...it should be a 2.0 hdmi cable whilst he provided it, however I rang 'richer sounds' this afternoon and a Samsung rep was in the shop and he confirmed the hdmi port that the hdmi lead is in already is HDCP 2.2 port
