Small TV and Blu-Ray movies?

I have a small TV at home, which I use when playing games on my PS4. However, I've decided to start watching Blu-Ray movies. My question is, since my TV is 22' but is 1920x1080 and supports full HD, I can still take advantage of the superior blu-ray picture, right? Of course, for future, I am planning to buy a bigger TV, but for now, I can still enjoy blu-ray movies on that TV, right? Thank you and appreciated.
