Smart TV, Cable box, Home theater...no sound

I have a Samsung 6400 4k UHD TV, TWC cable box, Yamaha RXV679 receiver. I connected the cable box by HDMI to the TV HDMI 1, then the TV ARC to receiver ARC. I have video but no sound. What did I do wrong?

Did you turn the ARC function on? Check the TV and receiver menus.

I did and went back to recheck all connections again. Found one of the cable not pushed all the way in. Now everything is working fine. It is always those little things that mess you up right? LOL
