We have now a 2nd new tv, a smart tv and it will not identify all the digital channels off a new nice antenna. We have 2 older tvs that receive over 100 digital channels but both the smart tvs only get 51 and missing especially ion channel. Guess I will have to take this back and ask for a stupid tv so I can use it for digital ...

Solution
It's now how smart the TV is it's how much money the manufacturer may have saved by including a poor quality OVA tuner.
Also since there are three TVs connected to your antenna it's possible that the signal strength getting to the new TV is lower than the older ones. Try connecting it to the antenna where one of the older TVs is connected.
You could use an ATSC distribution amp to compensate for this loss of signal strength.
