Hello, have a thorens td-160 super, sme 3009 series III tonearm, at-6006a safety raiser, needing tonearm rewire, unsure of route to go with regards to upgrade, and, since is difficult, cost to replace not issue, quality, and, future upgrages are. Have grado, gold presently, and, also a grace f9-e cart (needs retip). thoughts on grace or upgrade?? This is in museum condition. Dan

Appreciate the thought, but, wish to upgrade, and, factory will (only at a considerable price) refurbish to new or near new specs, which is good, but, at that cost-plus to realign, ship, bla, bla,bla-too much to consider for the negligible performance gains. Leaning towards premium wire, plus tips for doing myself. Not to save beanos, but, satisfaction of doing myself. In addition to savings of self repair, can defer repair costs to cart upgrade, and there are alot!!!-thanks, Dan
