Solved! Some laptop keys not working

My a and s keys suddenly stopped working. This only happened today but I got them working for maybe 10 minutes before it stopped again. I tried reinstalling the keyboard driver but it still doesn't work. I don't think it's stuck because I don't feel anything under the key when I press it. I'm using an hp laptop (window 7 32-bit), and if it helps, I created a system restore point last night before these keys stopped working. Are there other ways to check/fix the keyboard? Thanks!

Edit: I have a and s in notepad to copy paste

Do try restoring it first because it may be a driver error.

I don't know how they worked again but I remember repeatedly pressing a and s on Notepad, MSWord, and Google until they worked. They don't work anymore now though even if I try doing that though. Thanks, I'll try to restore it back before and see what happens.
