something wrong with my head unit/sub woofer?

I put a new subwoofer and amplifier in my car recently and now when I use a certain aux cord, only the left side speakers work but i get bass from my subwoofer, and when I use the other cord (in better condition) I get all 4 door speakers but no subwoofer? what could be the issue? thanks.

So you are saying this ONLY happens to your aux input? then (good news) the rest of the system is OK and (bad news) if you already tried multiple cables, bad aux jack or head unit.
