Sonic Solutions Cooperates With Lite-On IT, Ritek, MediaTek To Promote Qflix

US-based Sonic Solutions, a provider of digital media software, has been cooperating with three Taiwan-based companies, ODM/OEM optical disc drive maker Lite-On IT, blank optical disc maker Ritek and IC design house MediaTek, to promote Qflix, a technology which uses CSS (Content Scramble System) to encrypt movies and video content for sale over the Internet, according to vice president Mike Ling for Business Development Asia of Sonic.
