Hi,

I've recently purchased a digital camera and need to get more memory
for it. There is SO many different types of memory sticks and capacity
for each available.

I was wondering if there is anyone that can point me to a site or know
of the various types of memory that my camera can take. It does not
have to be OEM, but I would like your experience on the alternative
types of memory if you care to provide it.

Going on vacation soon and need to purchase it asap.

Thanks!

Sorry, but I can't tell where you're "calling" from - "world wide" web,
don't you know....

Your camera takes Memory Stick and Memory stick Pro. You could try
looking through the Sony website for more info:

http://esupport.sony.com/perl/model-news.pl?mdl=DSCP93

If you're in the USA, I usually get flash cards at www.newegg.com; they
seem to be competitive in their pricing and they're a solid retailer:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.asp?Manufactory=&PropertyCodeValue=531%3A7926&PropertyCodeValue=0&description=&MinPrice=&MaxPrice=&SubCategory=68&Submit=Property

You could check the prices of the type you want at
www.resellerratings.com, but make sure you check the store reviews
before you order....

Thanks for your help... I'm in the US. Anyone purchase off eBay or
selling on eBay now that I can take a look at?

I'm not an ebay fan. Been burned a couple of times (even though I'm a
reasonably savvy shopper), wouldn't send a wooden nickel to anyone
dealing on ebay anymore. I'll admit I'm pretty risk-adverse and not
much of a gambler - I like to use my money for the benefit of me and my
family, not give it to some thief. I learned my lesson. If you're
comfortable with the risk you could give it a try, though.

I've also noted that I can usually get as good or better prices from
(for example) www.resellerratings.com (check out this search:
http://resellerratings.shopping.com/xPC-Lifeview_Lexar_512_sec_MS512_331~CLT-HSNLF
) and have all of the Consumer Protection statutes and Mail Fraud codes
in my favor. Yes, FWIW.... better than NO protection at all, like
buying from ebay. I'd also be able to look up a rating on the company
I'm thinking of dealing with right then and there, and find out whether
they're too good to be true.

Caveat emptor....
