sony dz 340 home theater woofer problems

My Sony dz 340 home theater woffer is not working because rat cut the speaker layer, so I want to change this speaker from local market, is it working ?

If the wire is the only problem then you can splice the two conductor wire back together as they were before they became food. Unless the HTS was on when the wire was eaten through it should work fine.
