Sony Trinitron won't turn on

Got wet ,tried blow dryer and fan over several days nothing.blinks 4 times on stand by mode

Was the TV turned on at the time it got wet? Or was the TV turned on at all when it got wet?
Trouble is, if there was ANY power going through the set when it got wet, then it could have caused a short circuit on one of the boards, or the power supply and unfortunately you have no hope of getting it working through attempting to dry it out, and could potentially be dangerous.
If the TV was UNplugged at the time of getting wet, then there would be a better chance of drying it out and getting it to work again.
