Sony Vegas 12 Problem

I'm having some issues with Sony Vegas Pro 12.

Whenever I use certain effects (one of which is the TV simulator effect) or just generally, the picture looks very 'glitched' (about half of the pixels (a random distribution) in the image turn black), but the effect is visible. After I render the video, there is a different issue. Instead of the aforementioned issue with the image, the image just looks VERY pixellated.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Try reinstalling the program or running the repair wizard.

There's a high chance the install directory has gotten corrupted.

I've tried reinstalling, but to no avail.
