Sony Vegas Pro 11 Display Driver Failure

I have currently downloaded an x64 version Sony Vegas Pro 11 and I am running the Windows 8.1 pro x64 and whenever i start the program it gets about 1/4 of the way through then freezes at "Initializing video services" and gives and error message saying "Display driver Intel HD graphics Drivers for Windows 8(R) have stopped responding and successfully recovered" however after this incident Sony Vegas is now stuck at the loading screen and will not continue the start up process...What do I do?
Also I am running 682 build of Vegas with an Intel Core i5-4200u CPU @ 1.60 GHz 2.30GHz

sorry to say but it seems like that processor isn't good enough for what you are render, it must be trying to use the igpu to render aswell, try rendering it in a different style, is the software legitimate? cracked software can come with tons of problems and malware
