Quick question about Sony Vegas Pro 13. When you're uploading a video to Youtube you can either select normal render quality or higher, what exactly is the difference. I know higher render quality makes the file size go up nearly 10 times, but how much does it affect the look of the video. Also I'm recording in 720p
Have you tried rendering a short clip using normal render quality and then rendering the file again with higher settings? If not, try it and see if you can tell a difference in quality between the two. It could be that the higher settings do 2 pass VBR rendering whereas the normal render may only do a single pass. It also could be the normal render does not use the maximum quality setting when it renders.
