Solved! Sound bar hookup causes problems with DVD player

LG sound bar, Toshiba TV (6 yr old), Panasonic DVD player (6+ yr old): When sound bar was hooked up at Christmas, cables were relocated and now all DVDs play in B&W. Into which jacks should the red, white, and yellow cables be placed so that I once again see color movies?

If your TV has a shared component composite video input and you are getting a bw picture then go into the TV menu and change the setting for that input to composite.

Thanks so much for your response! Now I have to admit that I’m not a techie so I first must learn how to determine whether I have such an animal as a shared component composite video input. Having done that, I’ll hunt down the settings for that input and modify them. Wish me luck (or send additional aid)! Sincerely appreciate your help. Will let you know the outcome.
