The sound is distorted when I turn the volume up. The subwoofer seems to be one that is affected most. Always had them full blast with no problem, now they just aren't performing well. Is there a way I can fix them? I'm using cyber acoustics 2:1.
Try it plugged into a phone or mp3 player that is not your windows PC to make sure it is not software related.
Other then that, its is distorted because you have been playing it loud for too long and now the speakers are blown out.
I tried it on my tablet, still sounds bad. I also opened the speaker with the amplifier. There's this white goo kinda like thermal paste around the top of the capacitors
Ok then, you blew the caps on the amp from playing it too high.
NOTHING in the realm of audio is designed to be ran at full blast 100% of the time, not even premium equipment. If you want to run constant 700w then you get a 1000w rms amp.
