Sound diver didn't load on Vista

Today i started my pc and the sound driver just did not load. Yesterday was working all fine - games, media sound all working in the right way. But now, i really have no idea what happened but it just didn't load. I usually a Realteck driver for my AsusP5KC motherboard. I tried to to find some sound updates but its always poping out this error 'Doesn't support this operating system:WNT_5.1H' i also tried to un/install the driver again but nothing, and not mentioning the number of restarts i made - its just Vista is refusing to make the sound work. I also check the device manager and the sound device icon is just missing. As if i never installed any sound device

Have you tried system restore?

Restore to a date prior to the problem.

Yeah, didn't work. More over i also flashed the BIOS and nothing happened. I talked to some other people and the most common answer was to buy a sound card because most probably the sound chip on my motherboard just stopped.
