Question Sound not working

Hi, non techie person here. I bought LED Projector to watch content from my iPad/iPhone. It works but there is no sound for Netflix or Apple TV. Fine with everything else (Stan, commercial tv apps and YouTube). As stated not a super techie person and I can’t find an answer on google. Thanks for your time and help!

Try changing the audio output type in the Apple TV audio menu and then try changing it in the Netflix app itself if that doesn't work.

Hi, I can’t see any audio settings for either app? As ridiculous as this may sound, does the brand of HDMI cable matter? I know Apple has this copyright thing so I’ve used an APPLE adapter. It’s just weird because everything else works just not Netflix and Apple TV Apps 😔 Thanks for your help!
