Question Sound only plays on one side on my headphone

Hello everyone,
So I build my own PC for the first time, and when I plug my headphones in the front pannel, all sounds play on the left side. But when I plug them in the speaker pannel (behind the PC) the sounds only play from the right side. The headset is quite new.
I plugged the HD audio cable on the Front panel audio header on my ASRock B450 Pro4 motherboard (if this can help in any way)
My headset is split in two plugs, one for the audio and the other one for the microphone.

check the connection of the front panel to the motherboard. Maybe a pin was bend while plugging it in or the plug is 180° wrongly connected or the plug is one row beside

check the cable from the front panel if something is odd to the front panel

check with a different earphone

I just checked everything. No pin has been bent, the cable is turned on the right side, and all the pins are in correct plug.

I checked with my sony headphones, and there's the same problem too.

maybe your front panel jack is defective or the headphones are not plugged in tightly enough

your rear is working, so the motherboard´s sound chip should be fine

The headset plug is plugged in all the way.

when I plug my headset in the rear (green in green, pink in pink) the sound only comes out from the right.
My headset is a Logitech G332 by the way

Sorry, didn´t read it correctly.

That´s quite odd.
Try unplugging the front panel and check the outcome from the rear again

check the headset with a different device like your mobile or a laptop,... without the y splitter

I unplugged the front pannel and the sound still comes out of the right side.
I'm worried that I might have damaged my motherboard at one point.
My headset is perfectly fine. I used it on my old PC and everything worked fine. I just tried it on my phone and it works correctly

try the motherboard outside the case on a non conducting surface (don´t use the foil or box of the motherboard), like wooden table or similar.

Maybe the i/o shield of the motherboard is not correctly in place between the board and case
