I have setup my Soundblaster ZX to output sound to my Onkyo receiver via Toslink.
I am using the latest Windows 10 drivers and am on the most recent Windows 10 build.
My audio device is speakers and my encoder is setup to Dolby Live and/or DTS depending on the day.

The major issue I am having is that after 2 or 3 hours on playing audio, the sound completely stops.
Once I select a different encoder the audio comes back for 2 or 3 hours and stops again.
If no audio is being played, the sound will not go out after 2 or 3 hours.
If you play sound through SPDIF, this does not happen, it is somehow tied to the encoder. This would be the better solution; however, I go from 5.1 surround down to stereo sound.

I have disabled my Nvidia audio devices (graphics card) in device manager.
I have disabled my onboard audio and depop on my ASUS Rog Strix 470F motherboard.

Has anyone with a Soundblaster Z or ZX soundcard, who is also using a receiver, encountered this issue?

* On a side note, if you know of great sound card that will output 5.1 or 7.1 over spdif natively, please let me know. I am more than willing to replace this soundcard.
